Hi, I’m Rachael!
Born and Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and an east coast girl at heart, I took a leap of faith and relocated to the West coast… sunny Southern California, for a few years. My time and memories made there are ones I will always cherish, but I couldn't stay away from the East Coast for long. I made my way back to Pennsylvania a few years ago to be close to the city and people I love most. I have a background in fine arts, but have a thirst for knowledge and learning, and have worn many different hats throughout the years (I’m also a Reiki energy practitioner!) somehow I always seem to make my way back towards the artistic realms, which includes my passion for photography. I have a deep love of traveling, exploring new and hidden gems, and connecting with nature( it’s a repeated theme throughout my art.) I’m also a recently new cat mom! (ask me about my kitty, Luna. I can’t stop talking about her.) Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, and was a motivating factor in bringing me back East again. I'm an avid collector of cozy sweaters and vintage clothing, a lover of books, (especially fiction set in the Victorian era) and tea in any form (Boba is in my top 3 though). My focus in my work are people and moments. It is emotionally driven, with an editorial aesthetic. I aim to capture the feel and soul of my client's stories. My goal is that when you revisit your photos months or years later, they transport you back in time, and evoke those same emotions all over again. Being able to capture the endless beauty this life has to offer is truly a privilege. I'm looking forward to being a part of sharing in and documenting your journey, as I bring you along for mine too!
